Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Cue, a native macOS meeting command center. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Cue, you agree to these Terms.

Effective date: May 6, 2026

If you do not agree, do not use Cue.

1. What Cue does

Cue helps users prepare for meetings, receive live cue cards, review meeting facts, create drafts, and organize workspace memory.

Cue may use calendar context, microphone input, transcript text, workspace memory, user-entered information, and AI provider outputs to provide these features.

Cue is a productivity tool. Cue does not replace your judgment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cue. If you use Cue on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to use Cue on that organization’s behalf.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The information you enter into Cue
  • The meetings, transcripts, documents, and context you choose to process
  • Obtaining any necessary consent before recording, transcribing, or processing conversations
  • Reviewing AI-generated content before using or sharing it
  • Complying with applicable laws, workplace policies, and confidentiality obligations
  • Configuring any third-party AI provider or account you choose to use with Cue

Do not use Cue to process information you do not have the right to access or use.

4. Meeting recording, transcription, and consent

Laws and workplace rules about recording, transcription, and consent vary by location and situation.

You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with any laws, company policies, customer agreements, or confidentiality obligations that apply to your meetings.

Cue does not determine whether you are legally allowed to record, transcribe, summarize, or process a conversation.

5. AI-generated content

Cue may generate cue cards, meeting briefs, summaries, drafts, next steps, and other AI-assisted content.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, delayed, or inappropriate for your situation. You must review and validate AI-generated content before relying on it, sending it, saving it, or sharing it.

Cue does not provide legal, financial, medical, employment, investment, or professional advice.

6. Draft-only email behavior

Cue may help generate email draft content. Cue is designed so that generated email content is reviewed by the user.

Cue does not automatically send emails on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, and sending any message.

7. Third-party providers and services

Cue may work with third-party services, including Apple platform services, calendar services, transcription systems, AI providers, email clients, and other integrations.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their outputs, their policies, or their handling of data.

If you connect or configure a third-party AI provider, you are responsible for that provider relationship, including any API keys, costs, limits, permissions, and data processing terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Cue to:

  • Violate any law or regulation
  • Infringe the rights of others
  • Record, transcribe, or process conversations without proper rights or consent
  • Upload or process confidential information without authorization
  • Generate spam, harassment, abuse, or deceptive content
