1. What Cue does
Cue helps users prepare for meetings, receive live cue cards, review meeting facts, create drafts, and organize workspace memory.
Cue may use calendar context, microphone input, transcript text, workspace memory, user-entered information, and AI provider outputs to provide these features.
Cue is a productivity tool. Cue does not replace your judgment.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Cue. If you use Cue on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to use Cue on that organization’s behalf.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The information you enter into Cue
- The meetings, transcripts, documents, and context you choose to process
- Obtaining any necessary consent before recording, transcribing, or processing conversations
- Reviewing AI-generated content before using or sharing it
- Complying with applicable laws, workplace policies, and confidentiality obligations
- Configuring any third-party AI provider or account you choose to use with Cue
Do not use Cue to process information you do not have the right to access or use.
4. Meeting recording, transcription, and consent
Laws and workplace rules about recording, transcription, and consent vary by location and situation.
You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with any laws, company policies, customer agreements, or confidentiality obligations that apply to your meetings.
Cue does not determine whether you are legally allowed to record, transcribe, summarize, or process a conversation.
5. AI-generated content
Cue may generate cue cards, meeting briefs, summaries, drafts, next steps, and other AI-assisted content.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, delayed, or inappropriate for your situation. You must review and validate AI-generated content before relying on it, sending it, saving it, or sharing it.
Cue does not provide legal, financial, medical, employment, investment, or professional advice.
6. Draft-only email behavior
Cue may help generate email draft content. Cue is designed so that generated email content is reviewed by the user.
Cue does not automatically send emails on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, and sending any message.
7. Third-party providers and services
Cue may work with third-party services, including Apple platform services, calendar services, transcription systems, AI providers, email clients, and other integrations.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their outputs, their policies, or their handling of data.
If you connect or configure a third-party AI provider, you are responsible for that provider relationship, including any API keys, costs, limits, permissions, and data processing terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Cue to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Infringe the rights of others
- Record, transcribe, or process conversations without proper rights or consent
- Upload or process confidential information without authorization
- Generate spam, harassment, abuse, or deceptive content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise Cue
- Use Cue in a way that could harm others or interfere with the service

10. Ownership
Cue, including its design, software, branding, logos, interfaces, and related materials, is owned by Cue or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on Cue except as permitted by law or with written permission.
You retain rights to the content you input into Cue, subject to the rights needed for Cue to provide the app’s functionality.
11. Feedback
If you provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, or improvements, you grant Cue permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.
12. App Store terms
If you download Cue through the Apple App Store, Apple’s terms may also apply. Apple is not responsible for Cue’s content, support, or claims, except as required by applicable law or Apple’s own terms.
13. Changes to Cue
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Cue at any time. Some features may change as the product evolves.
14. Disclaimers
Cue is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that Cue will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for your specific use case.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cue and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, reputational harm, or other losses arising from or related to your use of Cue.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Cue will not exceed the amount you paid to use Cue in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cue and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of Cue, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of laws or rights of others.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Cue if you violate these Terms or use Cue in a way that creates risk or harm.
You may stop using Cue at any time.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
