Common support topics

Calendar access

Cue uses calendar access to show upcoming meetings, prepare meeting briefs, and connect meetings to workspaces.

You can manage calendar permission in macOS System Settings.

Microphone and transcription

Cue uses microphone and speech recognition permissions to transcribe meetings and generate live cue cards.

If transcription is not working, check:

  • Microphone permission
  • Speech recognition permission
  • Your selected transcription mode
  • Whether another app is using the microphone
  • Whether Cue has been restarted after permissions changed

AI provider setup

Cue may require a configured AI provider for certain AI-generated features.

If AI features are not working, check:

  • Provider connection
  • API key or account status
  • Provider limits
  • Network connection
  • Selected model/provider settings

Draft-only email behavior

Cue may help generate draft email content, but Cue does not automatically send emails.

You remain in control of reviewing, editing, and sending any email.

Data and privacy

Cue is designed to keep meeting context and workspace memory local where possible. Some AI-powered features may send relevant prompt context to your selected AI provider.
